NodeMCU is an open source card that helps to make rapid prototypes with a few lines of code in LUA language.

Based on the SoC (System on a Chip) ESP8266 chip, which integrates GPIO, I2C, PWM, 1-Wire, ADC and WI-FI connectivity with the entire RF stage built-in. The module already includes a high performance antenna optimized for the 2.4GHz WiFi spectrum. Its hardware is compatible with Arduino IO's. It has an advanced API interface for controlling Inputs and Outputs, which makes it very efficient to manipulate devices, sensors and other modules. Its programming is similar to the Arduino, but interactively in Lua language.
